The Islero S boasts a 350 hp 4.0 litre V12 engine with a maximum torque of 392 Nm at 5,500 rpm, which were impressive specifications at the time. What’s more, the S model incorporated the Espada’s improved chassis. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.4 seconds. Fuel is supplied by its system of six Weber carburettors, making for the truly impressive performance for which the Islero S is known.

The design of the Lamborghini Islero S, conceived by Mario Marazzi from Carrozzeria Marazzi, is a masterpiece of automotive engineering. Its clear, angular lines, low-lying bodywork and large windows lend the vehicle a timeless elegance and unmistakable look. The interior of the Lamborghini Islero S exudes an air of luxury and comfort – a delight for passengers and drivers alike. The opulent leather seats offer excellent comfort. The Islero S was more than just an engineering masterpiece; it was also a symbol of the exclusivity and luxury that Lamborghini offered its customers.

Our Islero S was built in 1969 and limited to a total production run of 67 units over one year. A real rarity that was first registered in Switzerland and subsequently remained in the possession of the same family for over 30 years. The current owner has breathed new life into the car with a full restoration between 2019 and 2021 following a long period of little use. The car is in excellent condition. It was registered as a veteran in March 2021. Needless to say, the new owner will be provided with extensive documentation about the restoration. An incredible vehicle in need of a new owner.
