Description

Under the long, majestic bonnet of the Bentley S2 sits a powerful 6.2-L V8 engine, a significant technical upgrade from its predecessor, the S1. This ∼200 hp engine ensures an acceleration that is smooth yet powerful. With power transmitted to the rear wheels via the 4-speed automatic transmission, you can expect an effortless and comfortable driving experience. With a top speed of around 115 mph, the incredibly quiet Bentley S2 set new standards in its class.

The design of the Bentley S2 is superb, with the curved lines, striking front end with iconic Bentley radiator grille and the tasteful chrome details exuding all-round elegance.

Pure luxury awaits inside the Bentley S2 – the exceptionally comfortable seats are upholstered in the finest Connolly leather. High-quality walnut wood trim adorns the dashboard, while the door panels and elegant folding tables in the rear create a warm and welcoming ambience.

The dashboard is a real highlight, equipped with classic round instruments showing all the necessary information such as speed, fuel level and engine temperature. The large steering wheel gives a sense of control and precision.

Technically speaking, the Bentley S2 was way ahead of its time. The self-levelling rear suspension ensured a comfortable ride, regardless of the load. The powerful drum brakes all-round offered reliable braking performance for the time, as well as enhanced safety.

Our auction vehicle probably came to Switzerland in the second half of the 1970s. It is said that this S2 was used in a 5-star hotel in Neuchâtel as a chauffeur vehicle for VIP guests. Between 2013 and 2014, the car was fully restored and sold to the current owner in 2020.

A magnificent vehicle, superbly built, mechanically completely overhauled and in pristine condition. This car gets a resounding 2plus rating, especially for its stunning interior and beautiful paintwork. With its veteran entry status and after an MOT, the new owner will receive detailed documentation about the restoration. A magnificent vehicle, certain to give its new owner a great deal of pleasure.
